So why didn't he play something else on the record? Surely he has the power!

Couldn't tell you, there's a difference between playing something in the studio and playing it every night during two tours.

And apparently James has three kids! Until last year and didn't think he had any! Fair praise for getting out two career highlights in as many years!

In terms of albums output, would prefer quality over quantity. Much prefer a quality album like TUVL with no b-sides to an album like PFAYM with a lot of quality b-sides.

It's strange, it's felt like the band have dropped off a little in terms of output, but over the past decade we've had:

Rewind the Film, Futurology, Resistance is Futile and The Ultra Vivid Lament (all of which had major tours associated with them except Futurology which I'm still kind of annoyed about)
National Treasures and associated major show/tour.
20th anniversary boxsets and tours for THB/EMG/TIMTTMY
Anniversary boxsets for GT/GATS/SATT with some other bits and pieces
Even in Exile
Countless over random festival appearances

So a slight drop off in recorded material compared to earlier in their career but there's still been plenty on the go.

Can't imagine too many runthrough tours, but the chaps love a classic!

Agree that THB is probably done now. I imagine Lifeblood will get a re-issue at some point, but I can't imagine a tour of any sort. One that might be possible is EMG 30, but other than that I can't imagine too much more of that sort of thing.
