God, I hate Spotify with a passion.....it takes away the skip button and then plays Autumn Song!

Anyone know what time this will be available in the UK ? Am assuming it's a midday thing?

It was available this morning (listened to it on my way to work) and then got taken down again around 8:30.

My bet is tomorrow morning coupled with the announcement for KYE 20.

It should be “Jean’s Not Happening”, and not “Jeans Not Happening”, which would make for a very different song I’m sure…
Those Manic’s and they’re apostrophe’s.

Who is Finlay George? Google is not helping….
…and is this cover new just for this, or is there some history behind it? I can place the others in the Manics canon, but this one is new on me..:

I'm thinking that Covers album was released prematurely, it only appeared to be on Spotify before disappearing again. I'm also thinking it's only part of the inevitable covers playlist, since it's all stuff that can't currently be streamed and seems like a lot of obscure choices for favourite covers from across their career.

You can confirm we get a version better than potato quality?
I feel like i'd be taking the piss by calling it my favourite cover by a fair margin but nothing technically disqualifies it, right? Apart from the original possibly not in existence. An amazing track.

Didn't get that far before it went down but I'd presume it's decent. Definitely a killer track, would sit nicely as a bonus track for JPFL.

I'm a bit disappointed that neither the full band or acoustic version of Endless Plain of Fortune ended up on this record. Would kill for a HQ version of BBC6 version of that song and Red Sleeping Beauty, easily in the top 5 James vocal performances

Good point - the studio version of Endless Plain of Fortune feels like it should definitely have been on there. Also the tracklist says Feels Like Heaven is live at BBC but it's just the studio version.

That is such a missed opportunity, with the latter track in particular which is indeed stunning. Who the hell knows how these things get decided.
