Wow, a decent surprise to wake up to on a Tuesday morning!
Other than Borderline, which of these are new recordings? Has a full band version of 'Bright Eyes' been around before? Also, has anyone seen it 'properly' downloadable anywhere yet? I'd love to hear some of these songs in a lossless format (FLAC etc)

Yeah, think it's mis-labeled on the tracklisting since it seems exactly like the previously released version from the BBC Radio 2 CD it came out on originally.
Curious about the other "Live at the BBC" tracks tho and when they were recorded...

Really glad they added Primitive Painters on to this in the end and that it's available to purchase.
Some great songs on this but Red Sleeping Beauty feels like a big omission. |

Of course some tracks had been already released (Feels Like Heaven, Pennyroyal Tea, Vision Blurred, Wake Up Alone, Under My Wheels, The Instrumental, The Endless Plain Of Fortune, Primitive Painters), but the others are new, at least as official recordings.

Most of these tracks have never been officially released on a Manics record in the UK where as Red Sleeping Beauty was included on the SATT re-release. That would be my thinking about it's absence. It's weird to think that the band have not one but two albums worth of covers!

Well this is a nice surprise.
Where did that 'Jeans Not Happening' come from? No heard that before. And is qubuz the best place to buy a hi-res from? I've not bought digital files in such a long time. It's either Apple Music or ripped from a CD. |

I'd come on to ask the same thing - Jeans Not Happening completely passed me by. Who is (are?) Finlay, George? Sounds like there's a violin on there so I guess that's it, unless its another of Mooro's hidden talents.
