SOT likewise is out of place, but it deserves a place in the canon. Kind of like 'Patrick Bateman', it's too different for the period's album, but it made it on there whilst PB didn't.

Oh lord, I've mentioned PB and now that debate will reignite!
Well just for the record this is MY GATS and the only version I can listen to in full.

1. From Despair to Where
2. La Tristesse Durera
3. Are Mothers Saints?
4. Drug Drug Druggy
5. Life Becoming a Landslide
6. Hibernation
7. Sleepflower
8. Roses in the Hospital
9. Nostalgic Pushead
10. Donkeys

I know many will disagree with my choices, especially moving Sleepflower from opener to track 7, but for me it works much better like that. I can only suggest you give it a listen.

I voted for GT. GATS may have the lush production, but it always sounded like a really poor attempt at an overly commercial rock sound (were they listening to a lot of Bon Jovi at the time?). It also sounds quite dated these days.

GT may contain a lot of crap/filler, but it still sounds timeless despite having been released almost 20 years ago.

I never liked GATS (except 'Sleepflower'. That tune is class!) not even when it first came out.
