Gloucester Guildhall - OK, it's small (400), but it IS a county town and they never, ever, ever play ANY-FUCKING-WHERE in the weest country bar Bristol ... I saw the Bluetones play here on their Luxembourg tour - one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Great sound, wonderful view of the stage, fantastic atmosphere ... has it all.

Just by way of a comparison - worst venue (for acoustics, anyway) - Wolverhampton Civic Hall. Saw the Killers play here in 2006. Like listening to a drillhammer through a toilet window.

Sleeper played at the old GL1 centre back in 1996... Wish I could have gone to that.

Lily A played at the guildhall not long ago as well, which was good. She has moved into Cranham now as well I believe!

A James acoustic gig in the Norwegian Church in Cardiff Bay would be wonderful, such a nice little venue.

They should play Trillians Rockbar in Newcastle. They wouldn't, but they should. Or the newly re-opened Newcastle Riverside. It's in a different location now, but at least it's now actually next to the river (it's actually on the Quayside).
