Really? Sound wasn't an issue where I was standing but I was a little confused at how slow Landslide sounded.

Yeah, that was slowed down - but the sound just wasn't so clean where I was. Didn't really notice it except on postcards.

The sound was ok where I was sitting in the seats, great gig though although I preferred the set list at the Birmingham gig before Xmas. I thought James got very emotional over the response of the crowd

ah, ok. im not really aware of the other venues.
i just figured with it being only a handful of dates they'd be in arena's etc.
what exactly is the point of this little jaunt then?
its not like the 2007 'uni' tour followed by arenas.
this campaign seems to have been - mammoth tour of medium venues followed by a handful of shows in no real order or with any real aim, then onto festivals. and they've barely played the latest record on either outings.
am i missing something?

Have to eat my words and say they blew me away tonight - still not overly happy with the presence of SSI representing LB but it was probably the best Manics gig I've been to.

Well that was infinitely better than the horrendous Birmingham gig. Great set, good atmosphere, nice and loud. Landslide was a bit slow but I was just happy to hear it along with several others I've never seen them play live and a couple I've not heard for years.

Thanks Franny. Pity you weren't there tonight.

Interesting door system. Think I got quite lucky with this!

Great set list. Don't think EMG worked well acoustic though.

Can't wait for next time whenever that may be!
