The Joy Formidable - 8.9/10 for me. Maybe even outgunned BSP!

Manic Street Preachers - 10/10. Couldn't fault the setlist for me. Chuffed to bits that they did Solitude Sometimes Is!

'Meeting' James after - 1/10, saved by Dext who kindly got my TGW cover signed for me but I didn't even get the chance to hand it to him myself! Asked if it was ok to have a photo taken a couple of times and tried to avoid being pushy but three of us got shunted/buffered back physically by James himself. Had hoped would get a minute with him after that but then a bloke pulled out five album covers he wanted signing and that was that really. Shame. Was all mature about it on the drive back home then cried my eyes out when I got to bed! I'll forgive him, I'm sure! It can't be easy trying to deal with a crazy mob of people but I don't think I'll be bothering next time. Leave it to the proper diehards!

Meeting fellow FD'ers - 10/10! Rockjunkie came down the queue to find me so that was lovely! Chatted away to Archivesofrevollover (think that's correct!) and Deadmartyr who was stood behind me. Waved to Sue in the balcony. Got a hug off Evie /Glitterbaby after the gig so that made up for missing out on a James hug! (Which everyone appeared to be receiving apart from me! Maybe he's been reading Appreciation!)

All in all a great night. Just a shame that people have to hog the band members after. If you've had your pic, got your autograph and had a quick chat then make space for others to have a chance as well.

Arghh thats a shame Gutless, nice to wave to you, saw a few faces on the front. Had to smile, a bloke by me in the seats said an amorous couple on the barrier needed a bucket of water on them, I looked down to see it was Abstract Unknown Girl and MSPKYE

Ha! Ha! Aye, said hello to AUG at last! So that's a few more FD'ers added to my list. Said hi to Kev as well. Yes, was glad I spotted you Sue and got to give you a wave! And I saw Karen as well.

Nearly got flattened by one of the crowdsurfers as well. I've always managed to avoid them at gigs. Made my neck a bit sore for a few minutes but thankfully seems ok this morning! Managed to get a bit of bouncing in. You definitely get a bit of space at Wolves when the entire crowd isn't heaving forward!

Best gig ever! JDB smiled at me and stook his thumbs up at me haha, I got JDB's plectrum, was standing next to a nice guy, and we had about an hour's discussion about the Manics! Saw Karen, Lindz, Dext and Abstract Unknown Girl! It was a great gig, and The Joy Formidable were quite good too! I love SIP (MASH) because of that solo, wow! Crowd were awesome too! I got punched, pushed and kicked though at the barrier haha, even so much that the Crowd Control had to start pushing them off me!

Sorry to hear that Gutless especially when it's James doing the pushing rather than the crew.

Aye, he wasn't being horrible or anything but a younger less mature fan might have been quite upset by it. It's hard because you don't want to come across as being a pushy fan yourself but to get any chance you have to be quite forward. Didn't work for me this time!

Gonna check my camera videos later and then try and work out how to upload them on to Youtube or something!

James could have been getting his revenge on me for shouting for Glasnost prehaps!

I was hoping you would get to meet James soon, Tracey, its a real shame it ended up like that. I hope you get to meet him properly and nicely another time though.

naturally the first pic is amazing and beautiful but it's still hard to me to give some respect to that baseball cap. blimey, I'd never thought I'd criticize anything leopard print that Nicky wore...

he's got really really good hair now, why does he ruin them wearing that shit?

by the way - that black Maranello is wonderful
