I was quite confused by the whole heaving forward thing, whenever I start bouncing I always seem to be able to do it where I am without impeding on those in front of me and crushing them. Maybe I'm just too considerate to be standing near the front...

As for the gig itself, it was the best setlist I've seen recently, though Life Becoming a Landslide was slightly disappointing (a bit too slow)

And whilst I'm here, are there any photos which show the Batman logo?

With the 'main songs' you always get a bit of a heave from the back. I had to smile cos for one of the songs you could hear a bit of a countdown from the audience before they started bouncing so we could attempt to do it in time!

Have to say, atmosphere and performance wise this has been the best gig for me this tour (so far!). I thought Amsterdam was going to be hard to beat, but with the crowd so up for a good night, it peaked it.

I've never been bothered about what is on the setlist, they can play what ever so long as they play it good!

Tracey it was lovely to see you again. It was a shame you didn't get a moment with James but from where I was standing, it looked worse than a rugby scrum down there. I was stood on top of a load of steps and you could see so many people grabbing him from all angles, I don't think he even knew which way to turn. Next time

It was lovely to see you again too! Yes, it was quite chaotic. When he went round the front of the bus I decided I wasn't gonna go chasing after him to try and get another go. Security probably wouldn't have allowed that anyway!

Really pleased with my vid for acoustic EMG. Sounds better without all the bass thumping away in the background!

That's a shame - it was a nightmare venue to get time with him really . You need to go somewhere obscure like Norway!

Got back to Naaaaaaarch at 2.30am...Bl**dy A14 roadworks...tsk!

Back in work for 9am...I am soooo tired today!!

But...I have this kind of 'smile' behind my eyes (apparently)..

Wasn't is just awseomeness personified?!!

MLE/OWA/SSI?!!! + crushed to a soggy pulp at the front!

Thanks to the big, scary Welsh bloke for the big hug after ADFL! I feel we bonded!

Deffo one of my fave Manics gigs ever!

Wasn't James fantastic?!

And...can someone settle an argument for me please?

I reckon that James played the intro. to 'Breaking The Back Of Love' by Echo and The Bunnymen....just a couple of bars...but he did. My mates say No!

Am I right or am I right?!

Great thread everyone and have a great time in Caerdydd tomorrow, if you're going...and the offer of my body is still open if anyone wants to get me a copy of MJ (no, really!)!
