Those remixes ranked:
Excellent: - 'Me And Stephen Hawking' - British Sea Power (cute and quirky) - 'This Joke Sport Severed' - Patrick Wolf (moody and emotional, love the instrumentation) - 'Journal For Plague Lovers' - Optimo/Espacio (bleepy, twisty and very O/E whilst also using the vocal neatly, love the massed backing vocals) - 'Jackie Collins Existential Question Time' - St Etienne (you need a heart of stone not to like this one) - 'All Is Vanity' - Errors (evil and sinister, suits the vocal perfectly, hence I think the use of almost all of it) - 'Virginia State Epileptic Colony' - Fuck Buttons (mmm, yummy, menacing, danceable (about the only one on there) and hilariously devoid of elements of the original) Good: - 'Pretension/Repulsion' - Four Tet (very Four Tet-ish, short and sweet) - 'Marlon JD' - New Young Pony Club (nice enough, but not exceptional, still manages to be better than all but two of NYPC'c actual recorded output thus far) 'Bag Lady' - Joanthan Krisp (whispy and I like the bass) Passable: - 'Peeled Apples' - Andrew Weatherall (bit bland, but the parts from the original song are good enough to carry it, doesn't need to be seven minutes long) - 'Facing Page: Top Left' - Adem (it's ok, very Adem, but I've never really fallen for his toy instrument style) - 'William's Last Words' - Underworld (nice enough, but I don't really like the effects on Nicky's voice, was better clean, bit lightweight) Awful: - 'She Bathed Herself In A Bath Of Bleach' - Pariahs (adds nothing, the sort of boring generic 'indie remixing indie' remix which wastes everyone's time) - 'Doors Slowly Closing' - The Horrors (hilarious reactions aside, this is rubbish)

We are still waiting on this section, it's gonna be badass. But while you wait perhaps you would care to peruse the lyrics for 'Underdogs' and 'Your Love Is Not Enough', from the album 'Send Away The Tigers'. |

Well bollocks, now I'm going to have competition! Which is good from your perspective, I guess...
