They wouldn't have a hope in hell of selling out the O2 in Dublin. They couldn't sell it out in 2002 when it was The Point and held less than it does now. Since then they've only played The Olympia.

If they reigned in a few special guests and did something with the seating layout- for Rush they took away about 2 thirds of the standing area and made it a bit more intimate. Still, doubtful though...

why if they drop Autumnsong is it win-win?
well, if they played the O2 in Dublin and wanting to not make arses of themselves by saying the London one was a "one off" they would have to make it different, and i do not see audiences screaming "the fuck? you dropped Autumnsong but kept Motorcycle Emptiness?" in any large numbers. the latter win stems from the former in the direction of the audience.
