Didn't Nicky Tweet that Gruff had been recording LRS with them recently. I assume it was for something to do with this gig?

That's good news about Gruff. People can now look forward to what usually is a fairly dull song.

Surely the chances of Nina being able to hold the high notes on LBN are between slim and fuck all? She better go and borrow an auto tuner from the x factor people.

I know that back in her bands hey day, there was a few stories of her mining live floating around.

Iīve seen The Cardigans live once (in ī98 or ī99, I think) and she couldnīt sing live to save her life, it was quite awful. That said, I do love YLAINE (Ninaīs Swedish accent is instantly recognisable to me and quite endearing).
Iīd rather James sang YLAINE on his own at the O2, to be honest, but itīs not up to me to decide that.

I'm sure the set is planned with James' voice in mind. He won't be able to go full tilt for the whole set, so expect peaks and troughs as it were.

He tweeted that they'd been in the studio - took that to mean rehearsal studio.
