Well it's been a long wait but it was great to finally see the film. And I didn't make too much of an arse of myself in the clips I was in either. Yay for me being slightly boring! Good to meet Franny as well, hello young sir.

Favourite bits: seeing Nicky at home with his dog, genuinely sweet to see how much he loved Molly (RIP) and Nicky just being himself & not feeling the need to be acid-tongued Wire the Motormouth -although there's plenty of that too. Plus Sean at home on the (shooting) range, the famous James Cooks A Fry-Up scene, and James and Nick arguing the toss in the studio over the shit strings on Autumnsong.

I do have a couple of small criticisms, but as this is now the finished edit I'll just settle for saying it's not quite perfect - however it is hugely enjoyable.

Elizabeth's made the film she wanted to make regardless of whether it attracts a wider audience or not; after all the time and hard work spent, it's just good that the film's getting aired. Let's hope it does get a full release this year.

Just echoing a lot of what people have already said. Fantastic film, what makes it overall I think is that it's genuinely funny. I missed the first few minutes and stumbled in to footage and the band talking about them getting bottled by Cardiff fans chanting "You're even worse than Swansea!". Most of the Sean bits had me in fits of laughter - Sleepflower, Underdogs, shooting range etc.

For those asking the film runs a loose chronological order, but there is a bit of skipping back and forth to various interviews (all fits together nicely). I don't think it needs any PFAYM/National Treasures additions, as Elizabeth said in the Q&A JFPL is a nice (and importantly triumphant ha) way to bringing the story full circle and the film to a close. Nicky does talk about his politics degree, but in a modest manner saying Richey was a much better student than him and wrote a couple of his final year essays whilst on tour (which I think is known already?).

I'm sure you noticed the bacon was grilled too in that case ha. I suppose he didn't want to be responsible for heart attacks amongst the film crew

Or more likely he just didn't have enough space on the hob to fry all that bacon!

i loved how Imperial Bodybags was gonna be called Bodybags Imperial, with Acoustic guitar.

The quoted threads on here regarding 'Underdogs' saying 'well, it was free, if you don't like it, delete it'.

Small dissagreement about Autumnsion original String section, which was flatter than the final album version.

Aparently James has over 100 guitars....

James bought 4 guitars in one day from a music shop on St Marys street, Cardiff. I believe that was in 2011. He also purchased a plectrum because it had a picture of Gareth Thomas on it. I know this because I used to work in the same shop.

He has his stock in his studio in cardiff and the 3 he bought were beautiful - can't remember which ones now to be exact as it was a long while ago since I worked there - and he simply wanted them for the studio and for his cardiff home.
