OMFG! Manics to support Bowie at Royal Albert Hall!

WOW!, great bit of news to start the day today with!

we know Tony Visconti has worked with both, but who knew Tony had been playing Bowie some Manics tunes and he liked what he heard?

big up and cheers to Porco for this link!!

Manics supporting Paul McCartney could've been a decent April Fools...

The whole five seconds I fell for this is enough for me to sulk with disappointment for the next 6 months. You tart.

Probably better off posting in Bowie thread but whatever, I'm here again now so fuck it. Wonder if Bowie does like Manics. He's not like Roger Waters who hasn't heard a song written after 1992, Bowie's never been shy about his influences and he's still discovering music. Hmm... I'm sure he likes Roses In The Hospital if nowt else.

I had a mild rush of 'Oooooh! Manics news!', that was about it!

i'd speculate that he's at least aware of the band and you have to ask what's not to like, really.
