Mitch Ikeda question
Does he still work with the Manics? I've not seen him around for ages. Last saw him backstage at the Edinburgh gig in 2007.

as far as I know he does, but he lives in Japan with his family and he doesn't spend as much time as in the past. but it's information from late winter 2009 so some things might have changed.

Aye, I want to borrow it if it's working fine!

I remember seeing Mitch Ikeda at the NME awards in 2008 taking snaps of the Manics. Last time I've seen him knocking around.

I'm trying to fill a few gaps in my MSP knowledge and this thread was what I was wanting to ask. Has Mitch been with the band since 2007/2009? Of course I realise the band have been out of the public eye for sometime during this period up until the present. Did the working relationship run its course? Nothing new to produce? Or a time for a change?

Personally I wouldn't mind another book of Mitch's MSP photos. There must be a few that we haven't seen.

No idea if he's still working with them...but he does have a terrible website for a photographer

Actually, he must do as there's some stuff about RTF on there.

Was he not at the 02 gig? Pretty sure it was him buzzing about the front before the gig started...
