While the quality of picture disks themselves has improved over the years, the sleeves have apparently gone down in quality. I received my UK copy in the US with both side seams split.

I think it's best to take them out of the plastic anyway... read somewhere they might damage the record over time

I managed to buy THB US edit via amazon and it doesn't skip like my 20th anniv vinyl so yea the victory is mine
