Is this a Nicky song? Or a James vocal? Any writing about it?

And yet again another mailing signup!
Is it too early to predict if it charts under or above 50? (That's our new target now. HIPS and D&F have good lower chart runs!) Do you think we'll get a lyric video or a performance video? FD: BOTH! Son... They can't afford both these days. |

I thought it was shorter but People Ruin Paintings is just but three seconds longer than 4.20 radio staple YSTSFMH! That's intriguing! |

Up there with "Drug Drug Druggy, got a feeling sweet like honey" and "The ending of this song, well I haven't really thought of one" in my worst Manics lyrics ever list. |

The vocal melody is terrible and James's delivery sounds like he's on autopilot.

Snippet sounds cool though.

I like the snippet very much! Very tuneful. Excited to hear the full song.

Guessing this is where the Waterboys references come in. Not too enamoured with it so far (wasn't a fan of I think I found it) and sort of feel like I know what chorus sounds like already but we'll see tomorrow. Would prefer to be wrong and pleasantly surprised.

First impression: some slightly awkward Manicseseque lyrical phrasings if I’m being picky (which may sound totally normal once I am used to them), but basically a magnificent song. Already making connections with the other songs we’ve heard and I can’t wait for the album, I’m especially intrigued as to how this song will interplay with the one about Morrissey.
