That's No Way To Tell A Lie (Guy Massey Mix) - Promo CD?

Looking for info on this as I remember having a mp3 of it back in the day but seems to have disappeared from my archive somehow over the years and trying to see if it's even possible to track it down on CD these days (I think it was sent out or something as a promo?) - anyone have any info on this that might help me track it down? Thanks.

I have the mp3 of this song on and old device but don’t have locally.

I had a thought the other day that I want to compile a complete collection of everything they have done (I have the songs on multiple devices, CD, vinyl etc ) I Would be great to have a list of every song they’ve written, if it’s still available and where it can be bought if so. If not then maybe S & V can provide.

Maybe the thread exists somewhere but what with them releasing new music it’s ever changing.

Essentially, my end goal is to have 1 device with everything on!

Looks like it's only on a CD promo. And it's never been sold on Discogs.

Funnily enough, I'm thinking exactly the same. I found loads of old mp3s in an old laptop but have got a lot to convert to since Futurology, but then there's loads of other stuff that I don't actually own, thanks for streaming. The complete list of 380 songs or so is what I need to compile.

Yep same here - I pretty much own every single song but they are in various places. I’d love an MP3 of everything song in the one folder.

There must be a list somewhere, but my challenge for the next few weeks is to rip everything to mp3, then download what I can as well. Thing is, there's so much out there - different versions of different songs. Wish me luck 😂

Yes , exactly that.
I have stuff on 7” that I can’t get to MP3 - if you buy chance manage to get it complete then I’d be ever so grateful if it could somehow be transferred.

I wish you all the luck in the world!

I'll let you know how I get on. It might take a while!

Cheers!

Appreciate it’s not an easy task. Those pesky Manics have released so much!

I really need to go through mine and work out what (if anything) is missing. And try and replace poor quality rips with at least 320kbps mp3's, ideally something lossless. It's all the random edits I find I end up missing.

I've currently got 2,435 manics mp3s including live shows to go through. That just feels me with some kind of dread :')

**edit**
Now I've started thinking about it should it be in year order? Alphabetical? I tried to get chatGTP to write a list but it keeps getting stuck, however much I try to trick it into doing it.

Personally, it has to be in order of release but each to their own!

That was my starting point. But then you get those Motorcycle Emptiness variations around Forever Delayed. Ah. I'm already over thinking this. Ha.

You raise a valid point.

A starting point for me would be if there was a list of everything ever released. Today they've released these 'piano versions' and I get lost with what is out there.
