Little Baby Nothing Video Question!

So I 've watched it for about a million times and I always thought that the girl n the video is Traci.But I've seen a picture of hers in wikipedia and she doesn't look like the same person.(Unfortunately, I haven't seen any of her previous "work" )

its not her, its a model as traci couldn't appear on the day

It's a girl playing Traci - if you look closely on her arm there is a fake tattoo saying Traci on it.

Also, what was the official reason again for the rest of the Manics not turning up for the shoot - was it coz they wanted to do something else for the video but wernt allowed?

First video with Steven Wells as partner in GOBTV. There were loads of interesting and fun ideas for this video that Sony gradually knocked on the head. Then the band said they didn't want to be in it (Bored with videos). So there was just James, and we got a bunch of Manics fans who had their own band, the Dead End Dolls to be the Manics....better looking I reckon. Especially the red head in the secretary glasses.
Traci Lords was unavailable, so we got model Blanche to lipsync her bit. Lots of high school political gestures in this vid...most of which you'd never see as they are slogans on the backdrop, and also on the kids' T shirts. "Keep Warm, Make Trouble" was my fave.

also if you're interested - some members of the Dead End Dolls (the band that plays in the video) have left comments about the video on youtube.

just looking through some of the gobtv/Dead End Dolls comments on YT...

apparently Richey was in the green room during the shoot and ate lots of curry...

The third Dead End Doll to pop up here - pink frilly blouse on lead guitar. Think you called me Panda! Nikki was Moneypenny, Sara was Drummer and Gill's name has escaped me - oops. There was definately no sign of Nick though, I remember James complaining he had no 'security blanket' (his guitar) so he kept stealing mine between takes and wandered around playing widdly solos. Ah bless.

I think the model suits the song and video much better than Traci would anyway, she fits it perfectly.

Vocally though, and in terms of the lyrics, i think Traci really suits the song. Much more than Kylie would have.

Aye, I think I'd find it a bit too weird if Kylie did it. I'm sure the lads would have been delighted, though.
