Ryder Cup Celebration Concert?
...at the Millennium Stadium, September 29th.
Being a showcase for Wales, I would imagine they are trying to get the Manics to play... along with Shirley, Tom, 'Phonics, Charlotte, Katherine and Shakin' Stevens. That's my predicted line-up. http://www.gigwise.com/news/54660/Wa...ration-Concert |

Would be great if they did play. Hope they manage to get a really good line up.

It's possible! Someone's speculated it on the BBC Welsh Music blog

![]() I wouldn't get your hopes up too much though about them playing here. But then I wouldn't rule it out... another bit of Manics news to keep us up in an uncertain air then... |

I remember him not liking it when Phoenix clased with the UK open in 1996. Also theres millions of golf loving references though from his appearance in golf punk to the ian woosnam verse James wouldn't let him have in Mr Carbohydrate and the reference to early Pringle wearing (they do make a nice pair of knee high socks though). |

A question mark wouldn't go amiss when it's just idle speculation...

James has a golfing event (possibly) lined up anyway if he's one of the patrons roped in to appear at that golfing event thing for Martyn Williams Testimonial Year. Sure rounds of golf have been mentioned in interviews before.
