Manics at southend
The manics are playing in my home town in October, Southend on sea. I was wondering how many of you are going to see the manics in Southend?

Not very many, if you go to manics discussion you'll find a tour section, you'd be better asking there.

I've seen King Adora supporting My Vitriol in Southend ten years ago. Yes indeed it was easy to get there but there was no late train to go back to London back then. What about now?

I would if it wasn't on a week night, or the trains back to London ran later than about 8:15pm (or whatever stupidly early time it is they stop).

Not when I have to work the next day. I'm self employed, so if I don't work, I don't get paid!

Share a taxi with Dext and a couple of others? Course, the main disadvantage of this is you'd have to go to Southend. Not sure it's worth it.

Last train leaves Westcliff at 11:30pm roughly, stopping at Upminster (zone 6) West Ham (zone 3/4) or Fenchurch (zone 2)

If you can afford the £8 return trip + ticket, no excue really!

I love how Dext tells everyone about modes of transportation, zones, how to get there and back, times etc. Hell - he even photographed and uploaded a pic of a bus stop for you for hammersmith !!! hahahaaaaa

The bus stop pic was rather useful I found. It's good to have a transport boffin on board, keep up the good work!
