MSP - What now???
After the relative failure of the PFAYM campaign, and the Top 40 failure of SKON, I wonder what people think they should do now going forward?

My suggestion would be to release albums as normal but NOT to be chasing commercial success as theres a danger of looking an arse when it fails.

Singles - Release singles but as single only, ie - not songs off the albums (like Masses, Motown Junk, Suicide Is Painless). Partly as I'm sure Sony pressure them to be radio friendly all the time. And also because in cash strapped times people wont buy a song already on an album.

One off singles shouldnt be a problem, they could back them with a bside, a live track and maybe a cover.

Your answers on a postcard (but not from a young man!!!)

I don't know what his time was in comparison to Hammond but the time was pretty damn fast!!!

True enough but I think they're wasting their time with normal single releases. The charts are total shit due to all the chavs downloading.

See my single suggestion earlier in this thread. A good idea I think!
