Why can't i pre-order postcards single!?!?!??!?! - Forever Delayed

Is it just a blip tonight, or does anyone know why the option to pre-order the Maxi version of the single Postcards From A Young Man is not on the official site???
I can see the single cds 1 and 2 option, but not the multi-buy of both cds and vinyl of the third single.
I've tried getting to it through the email advert got send, this makes it appear on the website 'store' but when click 'buy' just says basket empty!?!?!?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've checked the Townsend Records site and it's not on there. Maybe that special offer has now sold out?

GR!!! I hope not, saw it on the site when they first said it be the single but thought (wrongly) that i'd have time to wait as long as got it pre-ordered before the 28th when it due out. Bother.

It didn't say anything about it being a limited edition offer, and you're not the only one who still wants to buy it. Maybe it'll go up again?

Maybe, but it said through the fan site you got a signed postcard like with the other singles. Kind of holding out for it reappearing and getting the whole package!

The offer's back on now. Nick's tweeted that they sold out of vinyl and had to get some more made.

I love the thought of Nick sitting there going 'oh shit' and rushing out to press more. Must be a good sign, though? (unless they had lowered expectations...)

If Nicky is in charge of the stock levels for Manics releases he really messed up with the Postcards Deluxe Box Set.

That was the same image I had in my head. Although then I wondered why he wasn't pressing it onto glittery pink vinyl. (unless he has!!!)

It's a thing of beauty. I've got several indie recordings on pink glittery, swirly plastic, all sorts. Makes it nice and fun, I think!
