Ohhh shiiiiit.
I thought all that 'get a new singer' malarkey was your typical off the cuff Manics nonsense. I didn't realise they were serious. I don't like that idea very much.

Actually after listening to his intro I quite like him.
Plus he is often on Newsnight Review with the MILF that is Kirsty Wark! |

I actually thin kthey are lining up/hoping to do a project with Nina and I quite like that idea myself.

I like the idea of some collaborative duets, or an album featuring someone like Nina. Not wild about a full-on new singer.

I had a dream years ago that the Manics were playing at the old swimming baths I used to go to with school. And they had a different singer. No harm to Chuck D, but it wasn't the Manics. It was like a nightmare. I don't think it was premonition though - the swimming baths is now a pile of overgrown rubble!

I really enjoyed that interview. It helps when the interviewer clearly has a clue about the band for a change, it was quite refreshing.
On the singer thing... I think it's possibly a good idea, especially if they really do make a 70-track album.

Great interview, sad though. Hope they all all come back in whatever form refreshed.

"I think it's gonna be an Achtung Baby moment."
Manics do a U2? LAST NAIL IN THE COFFIN. Nicky thinks rock is buggered. James doesn't want to sing anymore. Sean, as usual, has nothing to say. Any other band would consider this the time to bow out gracefully. But then I guess that's our boys; never know when to quit

The thought of having to sing 70 songs I suppose!
