Thanks for that.Interesting to read that Traci Lords says she'd like to sing LBN live with the lads one day

Wonder if Tom Robinson on Friday will at least acknowledge this fact on his Now Playing show

So Eringa says Nicky played all bass parts, but another guy says it was James..interesting. I doubt Nicky could play for example Condemned To Rock N' Roll.

I take it they didn't ask her to do the NT gig then.

Happy 20th, Generation Terrorists! Now please re-release it with remastered audio because that's the one thing that bugs me about this album. Sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom or a museum or somewhere else with crappy acoustics!

The other guy would be me. Frankly if Steve Brown says it happened, it happened. It's from the horse's mouth, I merely went on the many stories I'd heard/read about over the years.

Lovely article by James, thanks for the post. A 20 year remastered re-issue would be fantastic.
Shame Traci wasn't singing LBN in December. Does anyone know if she was asked? In honour, I shall blast out Natwest-Barclays-Midlands-Lloyds as a 20 year 'gun' salute to a song that has stood the test of time ![]()

At last! Work PC wouldn't let me log in, but thankfully I can at home.
Thanks Jarrad for posting the link. I've got to say, although it might not seem like it, I worked my whatsit off for the past 3 weeks putting this stuff together (you wouldn't believe the paperwork to get freelancers' photographs on the site!) but what we've got is bloody great - it's awesome to have Steve Brown and Traci Lords, plus Dave Eringa and of course Simon Price. Sally Margaret Joy's piece is really interesting and she's not often asked about them. Jarrad has been an awesome help, and his piece is top. Anyway, I'm going all out to promote this material so you can hear Simon Price and me discussing it on Radio Wales at 9.30am on Friday. Please please please spread the message about the blogs because the more hits we get, the more likely I am to be able to do similar things in the future. thanks as ever James! x |

Good work, yes.
Strange to see Steve Brown say he'd change nothing. How can anyone be completely happy with the sound of that drum machine? |
