I thought it would be a thread discussing how untouchably cool it is to freeze to death for the sake of a few metres

Now queueing has been associated with those gobby cunts from the No Manifesto premiere, it's an even less cool club to be in...

Given that they may have been from here, please refrain from referring to members as cunts

If you've got access to their customer surveys, can you maybe nudge someone at the O2 to reply to my complaint letter about their crappy security? Two months on, I'm still waiting for a reply. I also made a point of mentioning it in my survey response and scored them accordingly

I've infrequentlyfound the manics queues especially near to the front to be full of self-righteous people who control the line and feel somewhat god-like to be in that position as if it somehow gets them recognition from the band itself. Now, this has only happened a few times since 2004, twice at Cardiff, once at Birmingham and once at Hammersmith Apollo. I tend to not get into it with any of them because they are there to watch the band they love but some fans seem quite put off by their nature. My experiences only happened when I was looking for someone who said they were near the front and was accosted for moving through people but I had no intention of skipping the line - I just like a chat with my mates if they're at the gigs.

If the Home Office can't take a complaint about crap staff seriously, it doesn't surprise me to hear the O2 can't either.

I tried to find a number but it's only Customer Services for Ticketmaster which won't help....

I think you'll have to keep bugging them, security are Wilson James if that helps!

Thanks for the tip-off Temuri and thanks for that info, Finn! I feel like I've been banging my head against a brick wall up until now, so I'll give them a try too. Also massive LOL at that statement...yes it certainly was a 'memorable' experience with some of their employees, just not for the right reasons.
