Richey - piano
Reading wiki I found this:
Richey Edwards (Richard James Edwards) – rhythm guitar, piano, lyrics, backing vocals (1989–1995) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manic_Street_Preachers What's this based on? Piano? moreover what song did he contributed backing vocals for?

backing vocals, yes, not sure if more of urban legend but there was some one song backing vocals, wasn't it something in GATS era? I have a vague memory of reading this somewhere.
about piano though, no, no idea. damn, even the fact he played rhythm guitar is not much confirmed, left alone piano

I'm sure I remember seeing a pic of Richey sat at a piano…
Anyway, I could easily believe he played part of the piano at the end of La Tristesse… I mean the bit that goes something like … G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G G ...which is a lot of notes, just not different ones. (no offence, it's about as far as my piano playing goes too).

I'm sure I remember several with him holding a guitar. Your point?

lol
yes, I think he's marked as backing vocalist on GATS, I always thought it was Roses, but listening to Roses it seems to me like Nicky only...

A non-registered user appears to be behind adding the piano bit (comparing revisions): http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...ldid=565670137
