Rendition Lyrics

Today I learned that the lyrics are

and not

Which I assumed was a reference to being bundled onto a plane out of the country rather than willingly getting on a plane and collecting air miles.

Thought someone might find it amusing, my friend did.

I can't decide if the song is a nice wee rocker or absolutely terrible. Just seems like a cynical mid-00s Green Day type number.

I love it, still one of my fave tracks on SATT.

Pretty sure it is actually 'air miles" not 'emeralds'.
I know better than put 100% faith in the inlay lyrics, but... the hand-written SATT10 ones?

Also, it just sounds like 'air miles' to me.
