I contemplated this one but it's right bang in the middle of the rugby World Cup.

Hoping for some North America shows and a few intimate European shows.

Got my tickets...!

But are Manics tickets here more expensive than in the UK? They cost me about 8,500 JPY each (which... OH MY LORD... I just worked out is more than SIXTY QUID!!!!!)

Surely they're not charging sixty quid a ticket in the UK?

I dread to think what the price of t-shirts will be at the gig...

40-45 in the UK .. Japan's expensive though 60 is the cheap end for arena gigs here. The arena tour they were charging 50+

The problem is, right now I have nobody to go with.
My husband says he has no problem seeing them live with me, but right now he's not in the position to make plans and promises for months ahead.
At the same time we DO kind of plan to visit Japan this autumn, but don't have a calendar date yet.
And I really want it to be September because in October I have to apply for new visa/visa extension (for Korea).

Damn. I'm so close....

Too bad I don't have the confidence to go alone.
I have a horrible sense of direction, still, Google Maps can help me, but still....
Btw, do they have street names and such in romaji too in Tokyo? I heard they don't.
