"aren't betting on a third act". So that means they've given up on mass appeal but are still going to tour and record, right? *Clutches nonexistent wedding ring.

I would say they are on their 4th if not 5th act with TUVL marking the beginning of the current one. With the article also being This is Their Truth, it seems like they're trying to fit in as many tired cliches as possible...

1st Act: GT - THB
2nd Act: EMG - LB
3rd Act: SATT - RiF (Could consider RTW - RiF as its own act)
4th Act: TUVL -

Tomorrow I'll pick up a copy of Mojo. 6 pages! It'll probably be shared on social medias but still getting it.
Eeh, I remember Nicky being questioned from the Smash Hits biscuit tin.

James is interviewed in next month's Music Week, out next Tuesday (17/12)

Manic Street Preacher’s James Dean Bradfield looks ahead to the band’s new album Critical Thinking, reflects on why the charts still matter to him and reveals all the things he wishes he’d known sooner.

Any way to get this apart from spending over a hundred notes to subscribe??

I'm hoping this is going to be a series of answers. Not even arsed anymore if mine gets asked. Which probably won't. Thanks though! Checked my emails.
